Tehran is willing to resume atomic talks with the United States on condition that it is approached with "dignity" and "honor", Iran's foreign minister has declared.

The Iranian diplomat declared solely negotiations was effective, and disclosed new appeals had been made by mediators to restart talks with the Trump administration. He claimed Iran had zero unreported enrichment locations, and Tehran was not yet able to allow the UN nuclear inspectorate to inspect struck enrichment centers for protective measures.

Navigating a Complex Route

Araghchi is walking a complex course since Iran aims to avoid be seen to be operating from a situation of disadvantage, and he emphatically stated that Iran had arisen more resilient militarily and emotionally from the joint assault on its enrichment centers in June.

He was addressing at a defense forum in Tehran where he reiterated that Iran had "a fundamental entitlement to refine atomic fuel within its borders that it will always maintain" – the primary cause of the stalemate in the previous talks.

Earlier Negotiations Suddenly Concluded

The earlier sessions of negotiations between the US and Iran were ended suddenly and bitter end on 12 June when the Israeli government, with Washington's assistance, targeted Tehran's atomic facilities in a fortnight-long engagement that concluded with the US president declaring the sites had been obliterated. Following this, European countries used their right to restore global restrictions, but Iran maintains they have not had a major impact.

Ideal Resolution Offered

Tehran representatives claimed they felt they had reached a "magic solution" to the nuclear fuel concern in previous talks, when it was agreed an domestic cooperative with American involvement could process nuclear material. The two nations would have been able to assert triumph since home-based processing would have continued and the US could be confident that Iran's nuclear programme was solely for peaceful purposes.

It had not been decided in the discussions that Washington's technical specialists could function within Iranian territory, but that was a reasonable assumption of the partnership suggestion. Officials stated repeatedly they had secured an understanding with Trump's special envoy the US official only for the deal to fall apart due to "opponents in the US".

Current Position

Iranian officials declared the cooperative arrangement was now withdrawn, but it seems quite possible the offer could be reintroduced in various formats if discussions restart.

Negotiations Stays the Primary Answer

Araghchi said: "It was not Iran that had fled dialogue; it was the United States and the western countries that had always tried to enforce their desires during the talks. Diplomacy can still be alive and stays the primary answer to settle disagreements, but its requirements, guidelines and principles must be followed."

Recovery and Rebuilding

In what is described by Iranian officials as the struggle of restoration and rebuilding, the foreign minister said he was confident Iran's defence capabilities "have significantly improved than preceding 13 or 14 June of this year. Our entire military infrastructure have been restored. We gained many lessons from this war; we have discovered our own weaknesses and the vulnerabilities of the opponent."

He continued: "We successfully passed this war. Our atomic expertise, which they planned to destroy, continues to exist. The sites and gear, if destroyed, will be restored; what is essential is the determination of the citizens of Tehran and then the social solidarity that they sought to undermine, but failed to shatter. The Iranian people have become more resilient, more integrated, and more backing of the government and the nation in the wake of this invasion."
